Morocco, alongside other Arab nations signatories of the Abraham Accords with Israel, are “forced to distance themselves from the Jewish state,” according to a recent report from Eurasia Review magazine.

The Journal’s report, entitled “How The Gaza Crisis Harms US Interests” stated that “Hamas’s surprise attack shattered the Arab-Israeli normalization process,” as Israel’s violent response brought destruction on the sieged strip, enticing global condemnation.

“The long-term consequences of this attack include a deeper Israeli-Palestinian conflict, more violence, and a greater chance of failure in future peace efforts, as tense relations between Israel and Arab countries make stable normalization of relations increasingly difficult.”

The Op-Ed, prepared by Professor of political science Sarah Neumann, points to “the vision of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, towards the Middle East to be clearly hampered as the war continued, especially with the increasing hatred of Arab communities for Tel Aviv” and its policies.

Regarding the United States of America, the report considered that “Washington is in a critical situation between reconciling its capabilities to support Ukraine in its war against Russia and the continuation of the Gaza crisis, in addition to China’s pressure on Taiwan.”

“This portends an increase in the power of Moscow and Beijing, while the United States of America and its efforts to promote peace between Tel Aviv and the Arab countries will weaken, especially the normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.”

The Eurasia Review paper reports that the Aqsa Flood operation revealed a large, unexpected force of Hamas, saying: “This situation is alarming, as it could escalate into a regional war with multiple actors and increase the suffering of innocent civilians on both sides.”

“The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has once again become a global concern, as world leaders attempt to stop the worsening crisis and seek a peaceful solution. The outcome and impact of this crisis are uncertain; But some analysts, who have explored how it affects power dynamics between major powers, the prospects for the new Middle East, and the challenges facing the Biden administration, agree that the continuation of this war harms the interests of the United States and the West, especially at the level of its efforts with Arab countries,” the paper notes.

“The United States of America is living under the influence of political exploitation of the crisis in Gaza, especially by Republicans who have begun to put pressure on the Biden administration in its support for Israel, as the American president today finds himself in a difficult situation in reconciling the war in Ukraine and Gaza. Which raises the shares of his enemies like Trump.”

The report noted that “leniency towards Iran is one of the most important ways in which Trump is putting pressure on the Biden administration, the latter of which he accuses of providing favorable conditions for Tehran to launch an attack on Tel Aviv’s historic ally in the Middle East,” concluding that “the war in Gaza, despite From the lack of significant follow-up by the American public of Washington’s foreign policy; The widespread images of the dead will have a strong impact on the course of the 2024 elections.”
