FC Barcelona is reportedly on the lookout for a new goalkeeper in the upcoming winter transfer window after Marc-Andre ter Stegen suffered a back injury that may necessitate surgery.

Spanish news outlet Sport confirmed that Barcelona has a shortlist of five goalkeepers to potentially sign in the winter transfer market, including Atlas Lion Yassine Bono, Al Hilal’s goalkeeper, despite the anticipated challenges in securing the deal.

The report suggests that relying on Iñaki Peña or another goalkeeper from the reserve team during this period is unlikely for Barcelona, prompting them to explore the option of bringing in a new goalkeeper, despite the team’s financial constraints.
